From hugging cliff faces at 100m to plunging into the depths of the forest to the revelation of the awe-inspiring coastline of the 12 Apostles, we witness dramatic landscapes and encounter a rich variety of wildlife as we journey this road carved into the coast.

The Experience

With this one day tour from Escape Discovery Adventures, you are in the best seat to experience it all:

  • Feel the sand between your toes with our gourmet morning tea on the beach
  • Delight in the many seaside villages and hamlets along the Great Ocean Road including the resort towns of Anglesea and Lorne
  • Take time at Memorial Arch to see the magnificent bronze statue that commemorates the WW1 ‘diggers’ and learn about the roads history
  • Search for the remains of the “WB Godfrey”, wrecked in 1891
  • Capture the most dramatic vistas of the Great Ocean Road at Cape Patton and Mt. Defiance
  • Enjoy a delicious freshly prepared lunch and explore the beautiful Apollo Bay
  • Discover the beauty and tranquility of the Otways on our fully guided rainforest walk
  • Learn how to spot Koalas as we search for them in their natural habitat
  • Be awestruck by the sheer limestone cliffs and rock formations of the Port Campbell National Park, including the 12 ApostlesIsland Arch, Razorback
  • Amaze at the tragedy and heroism as we recount the story of survival at Loch Ard Gorge

  • Our intention is to return our guests to Melbounre at a time when you can enjoy all the city has to offer. We do however stop briefly on the return journey for a rest room break and there is an opportunity for guests to grab a bite if they so please!
